The Fallout community is huge, but within that, Fallout: New Vegas fans are especially dedicated. More than 14 years after its launch, it's retained a dedicated following - so much so that many fans hold a meet-up every year, in the real-life location where the game's story begins.
This weekend, New Vegas fans have once again descended on Goodsprings, Nevada, cosplaying as different characters and factions from the game. Someone from the Fallout team is in attendance too, documenting the event and all of the impressive costumes and props that fans have brought along.
As we can see in the images from the event, there are some real deep cuts here. We've got a Think Tank from the DLC Old World Blues, Vulpes Inculta of the Legion, nightkin leader Tabitha, and the companion Arcade Gannon.
Many also dressed up as members of New Vegas' warring factions: the NCR and Caesar's Legion - and are re-enacting their conflict.
There are plenty of other pictures and videos from the event being shared around, showing how creative many attendees got with their costumes. I also spot at least one person as the best character in the game, Joshua Graham, so I'm happy.
This year's New Vegas meet-up comes after the huge success of the Fallout show. The second season is set to take us to New Vegas. However, years after the events of the game, it's looking pretty rough. We'll have to wait and see if Prime Video's take on the series can do the setting justice.
