Based on the game and beautifully illustrated, this new hardcover graphic novel takes you back to the adventures of Epic Mickey.
When Epic Mickey was first released in 2010, a prequel comic published by Marvel was released at the same time. Those comics have long been out of print, but with the release of Epic Mickey: The Remastered Edition earlier this year, they get a second life in a new deluxe hardcover edition.
The series includes both the graphic novel adaptation of that game and the sequel, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. You'll also find the prequel series Disney Epic Mickey: Legends of the Wasteland, which features Mickey Mouse's half-brother Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who lives in the forgotten cartoon wasteland. The books were created by comics legend Peter David and illustrated by veteran Disney illustrators Claudio Sciarrone, Paolo Mottura and Fabrizio Petrossi.
There are still several comic books available for purchase, and if you're looking for something a little more violent than Mickey Mouse's adventures, you can pick up a BRZRKR deluxe limited edition hardcover that collects the first 12 issues of the series. Created by John Wick actor Keanu Reeves along with Matt Kindt and Ron Garney, the series follows a weary and immortal warrior who performs covert operations for the U.S. government.
If you don't mind reading the ebook, you can also check out the incredible collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics currently available through the Humble Bundle. For just $30, you get access to hundreds of classic and modern TMNT comic books, from the original Eastman and Laird comics produced by Mirage Studios to the fantastic stories released by IDW Publishing.
